Select a country/region

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

To select a country/region

  1. Open Phone and Modem Options in Control Panel.

  2. On the Modems tab, click the modem that you want to configure.

  3. Click Properties, and then click the Advanced tab.

  4. In Country/Region Select, click the country/region from which you are dialing.

Notes

  • To open a Control Panel item, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click the appropriate icon.

  • You might not be able to configure your modem to accommodate the telephone networks of different countries/regions. If you should be able to configure your modem for different countries/regions but Country/Region Select does not appear, contact your modem manufacturer for an update.
