Click Accounts payable > Setup > Tax 1099 > 1099 fields.
Use this form to verify and update, according to the latest IRS requirements, the minimum amounts that 1099 boxes must contain before you must file 1099 reports with the IRS.
You must update the default minimum amounts before you prepare a 1099 report for filing. We recommend that you review IRS rule changes for the applicable tax year before you set up and process 1099 statements.

(USA) This form is available only to legal entities whose primary address is in the United States.

The IRS might require that even if just one amount on a form is greater than the minimum amount, all amounts must be reported, even if they are less than the minimum amount. |

(USA) If your organization is in the public sector, you can update the default minimum amounts for 1099-G or 1099-S form fields, if they are included in this list. Some fields are intentionally omitted. For example, the S-5 field is omitted because it is used for real estate taxes, and an IRS minimum amount does not apply. Also, it is possible to set up 1099-G and 1099-S amounts in this form, but still not be able to track and print 1099-G or 1099-S vendor information. To track information for 1099-G and 1099-S tax forms, you must select the Public Sector 1099G and Public Sector 1099S configuration keys.
