PerformancePoint Planning Web Service

This procedure installs and configures the PerformancePoint Planning Web Service component. This procedure assumes that you have run the MSI setup to expand all installation files to the local computer where the Planning Web Service component is installed. The following steps begin after the Planning Server Configuration Manager has been run and is open to the Welcome page. 

Installing the Planning Web Service

  1. On the Welcome page, click Next.

  2. On Installation Options page select only the PerformancePoint Planning Web Service component, and then click Next.

  3. On the System Database page select the SQL Server or SQL Server instance, and then click Next.

  4. On the Port Configuration page, enter your SSL port number and then leave all other default values, and click Next.

  5. On the Application Pool Identity and Service Identity Account page, enter a domain account.

  6. On the Validation page, review that all validations are successful, and then click Next.

  7. On the Confirmation page, review the listed information, and then click Finish. Installation and configuration for the Planning Web Service runs.

  8. On the Summary page, review the installation results, and then click Close.
