This procedure installs and configures the PerformancePoint Planning Process Service component. This procedure assumes that you have run the MSI setup to expand all installation files to the local computer where the Planning Process Service component is installed. The following steps begin after the PerformancePoint Server Planning Configuration Manager has been run and is open to the Welcome page.

To install and configure the Planning Process Service component

  1. On the Welcome page, click Next.

  2. On the Installation Options page select only the PerformancePoint Planning Process service, and then click Next.

  3. On the System Database screen select the SQL Server or SQL Server instance, and then click Next.

  4. On the Application Pool Identity and Service Identity Account page, enter a domain account.

  5. On the System Logs page, leave all selections default, and then click Next.

  6. On the Confirmation page, review the listed information, and then click Finish. Installation and configuration for the PerformancePoint Planning System Database runs.

  7. On the Summary page, review the installation results, and then click Close.
