WMS Client Logging - Log Cycle Period properties

The Log Cycle Period dialog box defines how often the server creates a log file. You can select one of the following options.

Item Description

Hourly

Choose this option to have the current log file close and a new one created at the top of each hour.

Daily

Choose this option to have the current log file close and a new one created at midnight of each day.

Weekly

Choose this option to have the current log file close and a new one created every Sunday at midnight.

Monthly

Choose this option to have the current log file close and a new one created at midnight on the first day of each month.

When file size reaches (KB):

Choose this option to have the current log file close and a new one created when the log file reaches the specified file size.

Never

Choose this option to have the current log file continually updated and not cycled automatically. This is useful if you are writing the log file to a named pipe or other network location where a script or another program can extract the data.
