Profile path

Provides a space for you to type the profile path, for example, \\servername\sharefolder\ user name .

Log on script

Provides a space for you to type the location of the logon script.

Local path

Specifies that the home folder is located on a local path. In the space provided, type the path location.

Connect

Select this option to choose a network path to connect to a home folder. You can select and configure the network path as follows:

  • Click the arrow in the drop-down list, and then select a drive letter.

  • In the To box, you can specify that the home folder is located on a network. To specify a network path for the home folder, you must first create the shared resource and set permissions that allow the user access. You can do this by using shared folders on another computer.
