The processing of Pickup file %1 caused the transport process to fail. Pickup file %1 will be renamed.

Explanation

This Warning event indicates that the processing of the specified message file in the Pickup directory or the Replay directory caused the Microsoft Exchange Transport service to fail.

Any message that causes the Microsoft Exchange Transport service to fail during message processing is classified as a poison message. Poison messages are put in the poison message queue. The poison message queue is a special queue that is used to isolate messages that are detected to be potentially harmful to the Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 system after a server failure. User Action

To resolve this warning, do one or more of the following:

  • Take no action, except send the poison message file that caused the failure of the Microsoft Exchange Transport service to Microsoft Customer support for analysis.

  • If you are confident that the specified message file had nothing to do with the failure of the Microsoft Exchange Transport service, you may resubmit the poison message file. For more information, see 重新提交队列中的邮件.
