Explanation

This Information event indicates that the Microsoft Exchange Anti-spam Update service has started.

Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 includes transport agents that provide anti-spam features. This functionality is enabled when you run the AntispamAgents.ps1 script on a server that is running the Hub Transport or Edge Transport role. The AntispamAgents.ps1 script is located in the %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Scripts folder.

After you enable the anti-spam feature in Exchange, the Microsoft Exchange Anti-spam Update service starts. This service updates the anti-spam engine by using the Windows Update Agent (WUA).
