Outlook Web App couldn't initialize.%n%nForms registry %1 inherits forms registry %2, but forms registry %2 couldn't be found.%n%nThe forms registry is a critical component of Outlook Web App. If this error isn't addressed, users might not be able to access Outlook Web App. The Help and Support Center provides information about troubleshooting the forms registry.

Explanation

This Error event indicates that the specified forms registry is unable to find a registry that it inherits from. This event may be caused because a registry that one or more registries inherit from has been deleted. For example, if Registry A inherits from Registry B and Registry B cannot be found, you will see this error.

User Action

To resolve this error, do one or more of the following:

  • Open the registry that is unable to inherit and remove the reference to the missing registry.

  • If the missing registry exists but has been moved, move it to the correct location.
