Explanation

This Error event indicates that offline address book (OAB) %3 could not be posted to the system folders in the public folders used for legacy client compatibility. By default, Exchange Server 2010 does not install public folders unless it is added to an existing Exchange Server 2003 organization or the installer selects to support pre-Outlook 2007 clients.

User Action

To resolve this error, do one of more of the following:

• Review the System and Application event logs for related events. For example, events that occur immediately before and after this event may provide more information about the root cause of this error.

• Download and run the OABInteg tool at Description of the Offline Address Book Integrity (OABInteg) tool.

• If you are using Outlook 2003 clients in your organization and require OABs to be distributed via public folders, you will need to create the public folder infrastructure by creating a public folder database on at least one Exchange 2010 Mailbox server. For more information, see 创建公用文件夹数据库.

• If you don't have Outlook 2003 client in your organization and you don't require OABs to be distributed via public folders, make sure that your OABs are being distributed via the web-based distribution method. For more information, see 管理脱机通讯簿.
