Explanation
This Error event indicates that Microsoft Office Outlook Web App did not initialize because the small icon configuration file referenced in the event description does not exist. The small icon configuration file contains references to the icons used by each message type in Outlook Web App. If this file does not exist, users cannot access their mailbox using Outlook Web App.
User Action
To resolve this error, follow these steps to replace the small icon configuration file with the default file that is located on the Exchange Server 2010 DVD:
Locate the SmallIcons.xml file in the Setup\ServerRoles\ClientAccess\owa\<version> folder on the Exchange 2010 DVD.
Copy the SmallIcons.xml file to the C:\Program Files\ Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\ClientAccess\Owa\<version> folder on the computer that is running the Client Access server role, where C:\ is the directory to which you installed Exchange 2010.
