(HUN) Generate an inventory journal

After counting inventory items, you can generate an inventory journal for recording value and quantity discrepancies.

  1. Click Inventory management > Journals > Item counting > Counting. Click Lines.

  2. In the Date field, select the transaction date to be applied to the journal line.

  3. In the Item number field, select the item number to be posted.

  4. In the Counted field, enter the quantity resulting from the on-hand inventory count.

  5. In the Quantity field, enter the quantity to be posted.

  6. In the Worker field, select the employee who counted the items.

  7. Click Post to post the journal line.
