(IND) Create an inventory model group for capital items

Inventory issues are settled against the first receipts into inventory based on the physical date of the inventory transaction. You can use a FIFO inventory model group to mark inventory transactions.

  1. Click Inventory management > Setup > Inventory > Item model groups.

  2. On the Overview tab, press CTRL+N.

  3. Enter a new inventory model group for capital items in the Item model group field and name of the capital items in the Name field.

  4. Click the Inventory model tab and select an inventory model in the Inventory model field from the following options:

    • FIFO

    • LIFO

    • LIFO date

    • Weighted avg.

    • Weighted avg. date

    • Standard cost

  5. Press CRTL+S or close this form.
