(IND) Set up tax ledger posting groups for DFIA

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Use the Tax ledger posting groups form to set up the ledger posting groups that are attached to individual India indirect tax codes.

1. Click General ledger > Setup > Sales tax > India > Tax ledger posting groups.

2. Click New to create a new posting group.

3. In the Ledger posting group field, enter a unique identifier for the posting group.

4. In the Description field, enter a description of the posting group.

5. In the Tax type list, select Customs.

6. On the Setup FastTab, click Add.

7. On the Ledger accounts FastTab, in the Select area, click DFIA receivable account, and then click Add.

8. In the Tax component list, select the relevant tax component code.

9. In the Ledger account list, select the ledger account number that applies to the incentive scheme.
