(CZE) Accounts receivable parameters (modified form)

Click Accounts receivable > Setup > Accounts receivable parameters.

Use this form to set up parameters for Accounts receivable. We recommend that you review and set all the parameters before you start to use the system, especially before you enter or generate customer invoices. The parameters determine how the data that is generated by posting source documents is handled.

You can do any of the following tasks:

  • Select among various kinds of functionality.

  • Enter the default information that is used if the information is not otherwise specified.

  • Select number sequences that are related to Accounts receivable.

Field

Description

Exchange rate date

Select the date for exchange rate calculation from the following options:

  • Posting date – Calculate the exchange rate based on the posting date.

  • Date of VAT register – Calculate the exchange rate based on the date of the value-added tax (VAT) register.

  • Document date – Calculate the exchange rate based on the document date.

  • Document date (for EU trade only) – Calculate the exchange rate based on the document date for trade with European Union countries.

Posting profile

Select the posting profile to use with advance invoicing.

注意

According to Czech legislation, advance invoices are not treated as accounting or tax documents, and are not posted to the general ledger. This field should remain blank to prevent advance invoice posting to the general ledger.

Offset account

Select the default offset account to use with advanced invoicing.

Sales tax group

Select the sales tax group to use when calculating sales tax with advance invoicing.

Reversal as correction

Select this check box if you want the reversal of an advance invoice to be considered a correction.

Reverse on invoice date

Select this check box to reverse the prepayment on the date the invoice is posted.

This check box is available only if you have selected the Journalizing customer\vendor settlement transactions configuration key in the License configuration form.

VAT transaction type

Select the type of VAT transaction to use to settle the prepayment.

Tax group for prepayment

Select the tax group to use to calculate sales tax on the prepayment.

This field is available only if you have selected the Journalizing customer\vendor settlement transactions configuration key in the License configuration form.

Item sales tax group

Select the tax group to use to calculate sales tax on the prepayment.

Prepayment handling

Select which form is used to handle prepayments:

  • Simple – This form lets you convert prepayments to payments.

  • Advanced – This form lets you convert prepayments to payments, as well as update sales tax group, update the VAT register date, and create a tax document.

Multiple prepayment dates

Select the type of message that you receive when there is a prepayment with multiple transactions linked to an advance invoice:

  • Select the Accept option to accept multiple prepayment transactions per advance invoice without receiving a message.

  • Select the Warning option to receive a warning if there are multiple prepayment transactions per advance invoice.

  • Select the Error option to receive an error message if there are multiple transactions per advance invoice.

Date mismatch

Select the type of message that you receive if the advance invoice date and the prepayment date are different.

Amount mismatch

Select the type of message that you receive if the advance invoice amount and the prepayment amount are different.

Linking to posted advance invoice

Select the type of message that you receive when prepayments are linked to an advance invoice.
