(RUS) Change a report template for electronic reporting [AX 2012]

Use the Document templates form to change a report template for electronic reporting.

  1. Click General ledger > Setup > Financial reports generator > Document templates.

  2. Select a document template to copy the new template settings to.

  3. Click Functions > Copy from template.

  4. In the From template field, select the template that the settings are copied from.


    The new template contains all of the sections and requisites that are included in the old template, and includes settings for all parameters. When you transfer settings, there are differences in the structures of the old and new templates. For example, the new template can include sections and requisites that are not in the old template. All such differences are saved in the database.

  5. Select the Include new structure check box to include the new structure for the template.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Click Functions > Changes report to open the Changes report form, where you can view the template settings that are not transferred to the template.
