(IND) Certificates (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click General ledger > Setup > Withholding tax > India > Withholding tax component groups. In the Tax type field, select TCS and then click Certificate.

Use this form to create, delete or print Tax Collected at Source (TCS) or Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) certificates for the respective withholding tax component group.

Create a certificate number.

Field

Description

Certificate number

The customer or vendor certificate number.

Status

The status of the TCS or TDS certificate:

  • Created – The certificate status is Created only for a newly created TCS or TDS certificate.

  • Issued – The certificate status changes from Created to Issued after the TCS or TDS certificate has been issued to a customer or vendor.

  • Canceled – You can change the status to Canceled for a TCS or TDS certificate that has a Created status. The certificates that are canceled will not be issued to customers or vendors. You cannot change the status of TCS or TDS certificates with a Canceled status.

Date

The issue date of the certificate.

Customer/Vendor

The account number of the customer or vendor that the certificate is issued for.

Amount

The TCS or TDS amount that the certificate is issued for.
