(RUS) Production control parameters (modified form)

Click Production control > Setup > Production control parameters.

Use this form to set up parameters for the production methods that are used to calculate production costs, and to select the by-product journal that you can register by-products and defective products to. These parameters define how production orders are created, estimated, and scheduled. These parameters also define the methods of consumption feedback and cost accounting that are used.

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Description

Use by-product journal

Select this check box to use the by-product journal.

备注

This check box is available when you select the Extended costing check box from the Standard update link.

Do not post by-product journal in ledger

Select this check box if the posting should not affect the ledger.

Do not post route transactions to GL

Select this check box to stop the posting of route card transactions and job card transactions to the general ledger account.

Do not post indirect costs

Select this check box to stop the posting of indirect costs to the general ledger account.

By-product

Select the by-product journal.

By-product journal

Select this check box to display the dimensions in the production by-product journal list.

Extended costing

Select this check box to activate the cost calculation of by-products, defective products, work in process (WIP), and finished goods.

Costing method

Select the costing method from the following options:

  • Normative – The costs of WIP and defective products are calculated from normative costs, whereas the remaining costs are considered to be production costs.

  • Proportional – The actual costs are distributed by quantity between WIP, by-products, defective products, and finished goods.
