Click General ledger > Setup > Financial reports generator > Functions.

Use this form to create query functions for electronic reporting. You can use the functions to set up and calculate fixed requisite values based on the data from databases.

General

Enter the parameters for the selected query function.

Type of transactions

Enter the parameters to filter transactions by.

This tab is available only if you select Transactions, Constant, or Function query in the Line type field.

Reversing entry

Enter the transaction type to filter transactions based on reverse entries.

Type of operation

Enter information to filter transactions by transaction type.

Operations/Tax

Enter information to filter transactions by accounting type.

Financial dimensions

Enter the dimension name and the dimension range to filter transactions by financial dimensions.

Open the Query function setup form, where you can create query functions.

Function

Enter an identification code for the query function.

Name

Enter a name for the query function.

Line type

Select the data source that is used to calculate the requisite value, from the following options:

  • Transactions

  • Budget

  • Register

  • Constant

  • Function query

  • Contractor

  • Fixed requisite

Query type

Select the query type from the following options:

  • Simple – A query type that you can use to retrieve data from database tables.

  • Function – A query type that uses functions to calculate fixed requisite values.

  • VAT declaration – A predefined, customizable query type that uses the value-added tax (VAT) transactions.

  • Document requisites – A query type that uses the requisite that is specified in the Requisite field in the Document requisites form.

Factor

Enter a value that the transaction amounts are divided by for the report output. For example, if you specify a factor of 1,000,000 and fractional part of 2 for a transaction amount of 3,523,123, the amount is divided by the factor as 3,523,123/1,000,000 = 3.523123. The amount 3.523123 is then rounded off to 2 decimal places and displayed in the report as 3.52. 

Fractional part

Enter the number of decimal places that is entered on the report that is generated.

Currency

Select the currency from which the report is created, from the following options:

  • Base currency – All of the data on the report is presented in the default currency of the company.

  • Reporting currency – All of the data on the report is presented in the secondary currency of the company.

Period

Select a date interval.

Budget model

Select a budget model number for the report.

备注

This field is available only when you select Budget in the Line type field.

Transaction usage

Select the type of transaction that is used to calculate the requisite value, from the following options:

  • All – All of the transactions are used to calculate the cell value.

  • Only reversing entry – Only transactions that are reversed are used to calculate the cell value.

  • Without reversing entry – All transactions except the transactions that are reversed are used to calculate the cell value.

Transaction type

Select a transaction type.

Posting layer

Select a posting layer that has transactions to include on the report, from the following options:

  • Current – Transactions that are posted to the Current posting layer are included.

  • Operations – Transactions that are posted to the Current or Operations posting layer are included.

  • Tax – Transactions that are posted to the Current or Tax posting layer are included.

  • Operations minus tax – Transactions that are posted to the Operations posting layer, except transactions that are also posted to the Tax posting layer, are included.

  • Only operations – Transactions that are posted to the Operations posting layer are included.

  • Only tax – Transactions that are posted to the Tax posting layer are included.

  • Operations plus tax– Transactions that are posted to the Operations and Tax posting layer are included.

  • Total – Transactions that are posted to the Current, Operations, and Tax posting layers are included.

  • Dual warehouse – Transactions that are posted to the dual warehouse posting layer are included.

Reference

Select a dimension type.

From

Select the starting code for the dimension range for the transactions that are included on the report.

To

Select the ending code for the dimension range for the transactions that are included on the report.
