(IND) Verify the authorization details for an AA or DFIA incentive scheme license

After an application for an export-import (EXIM) license that is eligible for the Advance Authorization (AA) or Duty Free Import Authorization (DFIA) incentive scheme is approved by the customs authority, use this procedure to verify the following types of information about the authorization:

  • The allowed, utilized, and balance amounts and quantities for the import assessable value

  • The items that have been imported under the license

  1. Click General ledger > Common > EXIM Authorization schemes. On the list page, select the approved authorization for which to view authorization information, and then double-click it to open the EXIM Authorization schemes form. If necessary, change the value in the Authorization type field.

  2. To verify information about the allowed, utilized, and balance values for the importable quantity and value according to the approved authorization, on the Action Pane, click Inquiry > Import details.   3. To verify information about goods that have been imported under the license, click the Lines FastTab. If multiple lines appear, select the line that displays Original in the License status field, and then click Item details.
