Use this form to create a purchase book journal.

Tasks that use this form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
Overview	View information about the purchase book number, name, date of update, and closing date.
General	Update the purchase book details.

Button	Description
Lines	Open the Purchase book lines form, where you can update purchase book lines.
Totals	Calculate the total amounts for the current purchase book.
Update	Recalculate all of the lines for the selected purchase book.
Print	Open a menu that contains the following items: Purchase book – Print a purchase book by using Microsoft Excel. Print additional list – Print an additional list for the purchase book.

Field	Description
Code	The purchase book identification code.
Name	Enter the purchase book name.
Date of update	The date of the last update that was made to the purchase book.
Closed date	The closing date for the purchase book.
