(RUS) Misc. charges posting in Accounts receivable (form)

Click Accounts receivable > Setup > Charges > Charges posting.

Use this form to set up revenue, consumption, and transit accounts to post sales charges. You can use the transit account to post charges for delayed property transfers.

Field

Description

Misc. charges posting type

Select the charges posting type from the following options:

  • Revenue – The ledger account to post revenue for sales charges to.

  • Consumption – The ledger account to post consumption for sales charges to.

  • Transit account – The ledger account to post sales charges for delayed transfers of property to.

You must set up revenue, consumption, and transit accounts to post a sales order with charges and delayed property transfers.

Account code

Select an account relationship from the following options:

  • Table – The account relationship is for a specific customer.

  • Group – The account relationship is for a list of customer groups.

  • All – The account relationship is for all customers.

Account relation

Select a customer or customer group for the value selected in the Account code field.

Misc. charges relation

Select the origin of the line that is created on the journal line, from the following options:

  • Table – The charge is posted to a specific charges code.

  • All – The charge is posted for all charges codes.

Charges code

Select a charges code for the sales invoice.

Main account

Select the ledger account that the miscellaneous transactions are posted to.

Posting type

Select a posting type for the sales invoice.

This field is available only if Transit account is selected in the Misc. charges posting type field.
