(LVA) Set up an account for a person or company to receive payments

Use this procedure to create counteragent or receiver records that are not entered or invoiced in the Customers or Vendors form. The information in these records can be used in cash orders and payments.

  1. Click General ledger > Common > Receivers.

    Click Home > Common > Global address book. Click Receiver.

  2. Create a new receiver.

  3. In the Code field, enter a unique identifier for the receiver. The receiver can be a customer or a vendor.

  4. In the Name field, enter the name of the receiver.

  5. In the Tax exempt number field, enter the tax exempt number of the receiver.

  6. In the Registration number field, enter the registration number of the receiver.

  7. In the Payment transaction code field, select the default payment transaction code.

  8. Select the Resident check box to indicate that the receiver is a resident of the selected country or region.

  9. In the Bank field, enter the name of receiving bank.

  10. In the Routing number field, enter the routing number of the bank.

  11. In the Bank account number field, enter the bank account number.

  12. In the Subaccount field, enter the sub-account number.

  13. In the SWIFT code field, enter the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) code for the bank.

    备注

    The SWIFT code is also known as the Bank Identifier Code (BIC).

  14. In the Address field, enter the address of the bank.

  15. Click the Addresses FastTab, and then enter the address of the receiver.
