Menus

The menu bar contains the File, Action, View, and Help menus.
The File and Help menus contain the standard Microsoft Administrator Console (MMC) commands. To open Data Protection Manager (DPM) Help, click Help Topics on the Help menu.
The Action menu commands change to match the actions in the Actions pane for the selected DPM Administrator Console task area. Also included on the Action menu are the Options and Help commands:
Use the Options command to set system options. These include configuring end-user recovery, changing the daily Auto Discovery schedule, configuring SMTP server settings, subscribing to notifications, or setting up the account used for SQL Server Reporting Services.
Use the Help command to open DPM Help.
The View menu commands provide access to the five task areas, and the ability to display or hide different elements of the user interface. For more information about using MMC, see MMC Help.
