Before You Import the Management Pack

Before you import the Windows Deployment Services Management Pack, note the following limitation of the management pack:

  • Missing Windows Deployment Services Performance Counters

Windows Deployment Services performance counters require the use of the built-in Privileged Monitoring Account profile. See Security Considerations for Windows Deployment Services for more information about configuring the Privileged Monitoring Account profile.

The Privileged Monitoring Account defaults to Local System if a Run As Account is not set up. See Security Considerations for Windows Deployment Services for more information.
