note附註
本主題中的資訊僅適用於 Configuration Manager 2007 R2 和 Configuration Manager 2007 R3。

Client computers in a Configuration Manager 2007 site request policy on a regular interval, which is by default, every hour. The client pulse feature in Configuration Manager 2007 R2 client status reporting collects and analyzes the log files for policy requests and reports this analysis to the site database. Pulse information is collected from Configuration Manager 2007 management points, which means that client problems do not prevent this data from being collected.

Before using client pulse, you should ensure that policy requests are logged by Configuration Manager 2007 management points and are available to client status reporting. For details about how to enable policy request logging and make these log files available to client status reporting, see How to Configure Policy Request Logging on Management Points and How to Ensure Availability of Policy Request Log Files.

Use the following procedure to enable and configure client pulse for Configuration Manager 2007 R2 client status reporting.

To enable and configure client pulse

  1. On the client status reporting host system, on the Windows Start menu, navigate to Microsoft Configuration Manager 2007 R2 Client Status Reporting, click Configure Client Status Reporting, and then click the Schedule tab.
