在開始為 Office Communications Server 2007 R2 準備 Active Directory 網域服務 (AD DS) 的程序之前，務必先確定您的 Active Directory 基礎結構符合下列先決條件：

• 在您部署 Office Communications Server 的樹系中，所有網域控制站都執行 Windows Server 2003 SP1、Windows Server 2003 R2 或 Windows Server 2008。

  附註：
  網域控制站的作業系統可以是 32 位元版本或 64 位元版本。

• 在您部署 Office Communications Server 的樹系中，所有通用類別目錄伺服器都執行 Windows Server 2003 SP1、Windows Server 2003 R2 或 Windows Server 2008。

• 部署 Office Communications Server 的所有網域都提升為 Windows Server 2003 或 Windows Server 2008 的網域功能等級。您無法在 Microsoft Windows 2000 混合網域、Windows 2000 原生網域或 Windows 2003 過渡期網域中部署 Office Communications Server 2007 R2。

• 部署 Office Communications Server 的樹系會提升為 Windows Server 2003 或 Windows Server 2008 的樹系功能層級。您無法在 Windows 2000 混合樹系、Windows 2000 原生樹系，或 Windows 2003 過渡期樹系中，部署 Office Communications Server 2007 R2。

Office Communications Server 2007 R2 支援 Windows Server 2003 和 Windows Server 2008 作業系統中的萬用群組。萬用群組的成員可以包含網域樹或樹系中任何網域的其他群組和帳戶，而且可以將網域樹或樹系中任何網域的權限指派給它。萬用群組支援加上管理員委派可以簡化 Office Communications Server 部署的管理。例如，不需要為了讓系統管理員能夠同時管理兩個網域，而將一個網域加入另一個網域。
