從 Live Communications Server 2005 SP1 移轉時的特殊考量

當從 Live Communications Server 2005 SP1 移轉到 Office Communications Server 2007 R2 時，使用者會重新設定主伺服器為 Office Communications Server 2007 R2，好讓他們可以存取新的功能。使用者在重新設定新的主伺服器之前，不需要更新他們的用戶端。但是，Office Communicator 2005 使用者將會在傳統模式中操作，直到切換到豐富顯示狀態模式為止。之後，使用者便可以使用 Office Communicator 2007 R2、Microsoft Office Communicator Web Access 2007 R2 以及提供豐富顯示狀態功能的電話語音裝置。

Office Communicator 2007 R2 中不支援與 Office Communicator 2005 之間的音訊和視訊互通性。

從 Office Communications Server 2007 更新

若要存取新的功能，Office Communicator 2007 R2 使用者必須設定主伺服器為 Office Communications Server 2007 R2。當您從 Office Communications Server 2007 更新時，您可以將用戶端更新為 Communicator 2007 R2，其方式是使用受管理的安裝軟體 (如 Microsoft Systems Management Server 2003)、群組原則物件或 Windows 登入指令碼。

將使用者從 Office Communications Server 2007 移到 Office Communications Server 2007 R2 時，需要在新的伺服器上為使用者重新設定主伺服器。但是，在新的伺服器上重新設定主伺服器之前，用戶端不需要事先升級，因此，更新用戶端的程序可以隨著時間分階段進行。

若要強制使用 Communicator 2007 R2，您可以使用 Office Communications Server 2007 中的用戶端版本控制功能。

附註：
在 Office Communications Server 2007 中，如果您設定了媒體連接埠範圍登錄機碼的設定值來減少可用於媒體的連接埠，則建議的做法已經變更。如需連接埠建議事項的詳細資料，請參閱媒體連接埠範圍登錄機碼。

當 Communicator 使用者升級到 Communicator 2007 R2 之後，可能就無法使用舊版 Communicator 中的來電轉接設定。例如，如果使用者已經在某一部電腦上升級 Communicator，然後在另一部電腦上登入舊版的 Communicator，則使用者可能無法變更所有或部分的來電轉接設定。使用者應該升級 Communicator 的所有執行個體或登入 Communicator 2007 R2 版本，才能變更來電轉接設定。
