What’s New?

AppLocker was introduced in Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 and has been enhanced in Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8. These enhancements allow you to manage packaged apps and packaged app installers, which are commonly known as Windows 8 apps. This step-by-step includes new content for managing packaged apps. For more information about changes in AppLocker, see the AppLocker Technical Overview.
