Install the language packs

Duet Enterprise 2.0 language packs are provided as separate disk image files, one for each supported language. These disk image files are provided in the Duet Enterprise 2.0 SharePoint Components zip file, which is available on the SAP Support Portal (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=205294). Complete the following procedures in the order shown to install the language packs.

To download the language packs

  1. Go to the SAP Support Portal (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=205294). (Enter your username and password.)

  2. On the SAP Support Portal, click Software Downloads, click Installations and Upgrades, and then click Search for Installations and Upgrades.

  3. In the Search Term box, enter Duet Enterprise 2.0 and then click Search.

  4. On the Search Results page, click DUET ENTERPRISE 2.0.

  5. On the SAP Software Download Center page, click Installation.

  6. Under the Downloads tab, download the Duet Enterprise 2.0 SharePoint Components zip file, which is also known as Download Object 51045067.

After you download the Duet Enterprise language packs, you must install the languages that you want to support on each web server in the SharePoint Server 2013 farm.

To install a Duet Enterprise 2.0 language pack

  1. Open or extract the 51045067.zip file.

  2. A disk image file is provided in the Server folder of the zip file for each supported language. Burn the image file to disk for each language pack that you want to install.

  3. Log on to a front-end web server in your SharePoint Server 2013 farm as a farm administrator.

  4. Open the language disk that you burned in step 2. On the language disk, go to the framework folder and then double-click Windows Installer Package (.msi) file to install the language pack and then select the default settings in the setup wizard that appears.

  5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 on each remaining front-end web server in the SharePoint Server 2013 farm.

After you install the Duet Enterprise 2.0 language packs that you want to support, complete the following procedure to copy the language-specific resources to the IIS folders.

To copy the language-specific resources to IIS folders

  1. Log on to a front-end web server in your SharePoint Server 2013 farm as a farm administrator.

  2. Open a Command Prompt (As Administrator).

  3. At the command prompt, go to the <systemDrive>:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\BIN\ folder.

  4. At the command prompt, enter the following and then press Enter.

    Stsadm -o copyappbincontent

  5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 on each remaining front-end web server in the SharePoint Server 2013 farm.

Verify Duet Enterprise language pack installation

You can verify successful installation of a Duet Enterprise language pack by viewing the "Uninstall a program" page in Windows Control Panel.

To view language packs on the Uninstall a program page

  1. Log on to a web server in the SharePoint Server 2013 farm as administrator.

  2. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

  3. Under Programs, click Uninstall a program.

  4. In the Name column, look for a language pack. For example, the name of the Duet Enterprise language pack for the French language is listed as "Duet Enterprise for Microsoft SharePoint and SAP Server 2.0 Language Pack – French."

Additionally, the .WSP files that support the language of each of the starter services solutions are copied to the subfolders within C:\Program Files\Duet Enterprise\2.0\Solutions\Starter Services\ folder. For example, if you installed the Duet Enterprise language pack for the French language, you would find the OBACustomerWorkspace.fr-FR.wsp file inside the C:\Program Files\Duet Enterprise\2.0\Solutions\Starter Services\Account\ folder.
