Export a report

You can export data from Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 reports into various formats. This functionality enables you to use that data for different purposes. For example, you can export data from an Availability report as a .CSV file and then use that data to create a Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet that tracks the same data.

To export a report

  1. After a report has been run, in the toolbar, click File, point to Export, and then click the format you want to export the file to.

    You have the following choices:

    • XML file with report data

    • CSV (comma delimited)

    • TIFF file

    • Acrobat (PDF) file

    • Web archive

    • Excel

  2. In the Save As dialog box, select the folder where you want to save the report, and then click Save.
