Save a report to Favorite Reports

Use the following procedure to save a report as a favorite. This approach enables you to save a report with specific parameters and then run it directly from the Reporting view.

To save a report to favorite reports

  1. Create a report. For more information about creating a report, see Run a generic report from the Reporting workspace

  2. While viewing the report, click the File menu, and then click Save to favorites.

  3. In the Save to favorites dialog box, type a name for the report, and then click OK.

  4. Close the report.

Now, when you click Favorite Reports in the navigation pane in the Reporting view, the report is listed. Double-click the report name to generate the report.
