Windows Server 2008 Logo Certification Issues for System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2

Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 is certified for Windows Server 2008. The follow issues were identified during logo certification. None of the Windows Server 2008 Certification issues cause operational problems or failures in System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2.

  • An ICE18 validation was detected for component C_build_mom_db_upgrade.sql. This is the intended design since this MSI is also used for the System Center Essentials product.

  • Ten instances of ICE61 were detected, which validates best practices for the use of ActionProperty properties. These checks do not pose a problem for the methods System Center Operations Manager 2007 R2 uses these properties in supported scenarios. The following three properties we found by the ICE61 check:

  • Thirteen instances of ICE68 were detected as errors. The detected Custom Actions are marked as being run with elevated privilege but they are not run with elevated privilege.
