適用於: Operations Manager 2007

For a visual representation of the objects discovered by the management pack and the relationships among the objects, see Classes.

How Discovery Works

The Exchange 2007 Management Pack discovery chain discovers the Exchange 2007 components in the following order:

  1. All Exchange 2007 servers are discovered as type Exchange 2007 Discovery Helper instances using an enabled discovery script.

  2. A set of server role discoveries runs against instances of Exchange 2007 Discovery Helper. These discoveries must be enabled.

  3. The discoveries that discover the organization, site, site services, and various components on the server roles run automatically.
