To troubleshoot NIS issues, you must be familiar with the following Forefront TMG procedures:

  • Keeping NIS constantly updated with the latest known vulnerabilities signatures, which are provided by Microsoft Update. For information on the available update methods, see 規劃保護定義的更新.

  • Checking whether NIS signatures are up to date. For information, see 管理 NIS 簽章.

  • Reviewing NIS policy. For information, see 啟用和設定 NIS.

  • Checking NIS alerts. In the Forefront TMG Management console, alerts are displayed on the Alerts tab of the Monitoring node. For information, see 監視警示.
