Working with rules
Rules collect performance data for each scan job. There are three rules in the Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange Server (FPE) management pack that collect performance statistics data from managed FPE servers. All rules are stored in the Authoring space of the Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 console, in the Management Packs Objects node.
About rules
These are the rules for FPE. For the properties of each rule, see Rules reference.
Realtime Scan Performance. Reports the number of messages scanned, per second, by the FPE realtime scan.
Scheduled Scan Performance. Reports the number of messages scanned, per second, by the FPE scheduled scan.
Transport Scan Performance. Reports the number of messages scanned, per second, by the FPE transport scan.
