How to Create a Folder

The following procedure shows how to create a folder in the Operations Manager 2007 Authoring console. Before you perform this procedure, you must first complete the prerequisite procedure How to Create a New Management Pack in which you create the management pack.

To create a folder

  1. In the Authoring console, select Presentation, and then select Views.

  2. Right-click Microsoft.SystemCenter.Monitoring.ViewFolder.Root, select New, and then select Folder.

  3. In the Choose a unique identifier box, type the name MyMP.Folder.Top, and then click OK.

  4. In the Name box, type My Management Pack, and then click OK.
