下列為 Communicator Mobile for Nokia 2.0 安裝必要條件：

行動電話也必須具備資料連線功能 (無線分封數據服務 [GPRS]、Edge 或 3G)。另外，我們建議選用不受限的行動電話資料方案，因為用戶端與伺服器即使處於閒置狀態也會交換訊息。

必要的伺服器元件

若要實作 Communicator Mobile for Nokia 2.0，必須安裝以下 Microsoft Office Communications Server 元件：

Communications Server 2007 R2。Communicator Mobile for Nokia 2.0 需要部署 Communications Server 2007 R2。
Communicator Web Access 伺服器。Microsoft Office Communicator Web Access 伺服器是 Communicator Mobile for Nokia 2.0 必須部署的重要伺服器。Communicator Mobile for Nokia 2.0 採用 Office Communicator Web Access 伺服器將用戶端裝置連線到 Communications Server 2007 R2 環境，且 Communicator Web Access 伺服器是 Office Communications Server 各項功能的閘道器。
語音信箱設定。Communicator Mobile for Nokia 2.0 使用者帳戶必須透過 Microsoft Exchange Server 信箱設定。
反向 Proxy 部署。反向 Proxy 通常用於 Web 伺服器前端，為用戶端提供單一介面，也可用來平衡 Web 伺服器陣列的負載。Communicator Mobile for Nokia 2.0 會透過反向 Proxy 連線到 Communicator Web Access 伺服器。
Exchange Client Access 伺服器。Client Access 伺服器支援 Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access 與 Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync 用戶端程式，以及郵局通訊協定第 3 版 (POP3) 與網際網路訊息存取通訊協定第 4 版 (IMAP4) 修訂版第 1 版通訊協定。Client Access 伺服器接受各種用戶端與您Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 電腦的連線，包括行動電話。每個 Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 系統都需要 Client Access 伺服器。
Exchange Unified Messaging 部署。Exchange Unified Messaging (UM) 整合了 Communications Server 2007 R2，以提供語音信箱功能。
