Tuning Performance Threshold Rules

The following table lists performance threshold rules that have default thresholds that might require additional tuning to suit your environment. You should evaluate these rules to determine whether the default thresholds are appropriate for your environment. If a default threshold is not appropriate for your environment, you should baseline the relevant performance counters, and then adjust the threshold by overriding them.

Rule Name Default Threshold

Failed Jobs Proportion

Healthy – The number of failed jobs is less than or equal to 20% of total finished jobs.

Warning – The number of failed job is greater than 20% and less than or equal to 70% of total finished jobs.

Critical – The number of failed job is greater than 70% of total finished jobs

Unreachable Node Proportion

Healthy – The number of unreachable nodes is less than or equal to 20% of total finished jobs.

Warning – The number of unreachable nodes is greater than 20% and less than or equal to 80% of total finished jobs.

Critical – The number of unreachable nodes is greater than 80% of total finished jobs
