本文件說明如何將 Microsoft® iSCSI Software Target 3.2 或 3.3 設定值以及來自現有 Windows Storage Server 2008 或 Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 電腦的資料，移轉至執行 iSCSI 目標伺服器角色服務 (包含在 Windows Server® 2012 和 Windows Storage Server® 2012) 的目的地伺服器。

「iSCSI 軟體目標」這個名稱代表的項目有所改變。 為了減少造成混淆的可能性，本文內容中任何提及「iSCSI 軟體目標」的名稱，是指安裝在 Windows Storage Server 2008 和 Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 (這些是來源伺服器) 上的舊版產品。 相對的，任何提及「iSCSI 目標伺服器」的名稱，是指包含在 Windows Server 2012 和 Windows Storage Server 2012 中的新角色服務，而這些是目的地伺服器。
