DVD Issues with MultiPoint Server


An error occurs when you try to play a DVD, such as:

  • A data DVD does not automatically open unless you are logged on as an administrative user.

  • An error message displays when you try to eject the DVD.

  • The options to “Burn to Disc,” “Eject,” “Open AutoPlay,” or “Format a DVD” are unavailable.


The user must have elevated user permissions to follow these steps.


To play DVDs and perform other tasks, put the computer that is running MultiPoint Server in maintenance mode. To eject the DVD, press the Eject button on the computer’s DVD drive.
