Logoff Procedure Error

Symptom

When a standard (non-administrative) user is logged on and presses Alt+F4 to log off, there is no warning or confirmation message displayed before the user is logged off. It is possible that the user could lose data without the warning confirmation.

Cause

This is standard Windows behavior when you press Alt+F4 to log off.

Resolution

Save your work before you use Alt+F4 to log off.
