MultiPoint Server Virtual PC Issues

Symptom

When Windows Virtual PC is installed on MultiPoint Server, a user session produces unexpected results. For example, the following problems have been observed:

  • If you press Right Alt+ENTER on the virtual machine to display the screen in full-screen mode, the screen might not adjust to full-screen mode and might not cover all of the screen area.

  • Mouse movement is not smooth and is observed only at the edges of the screen. It can be difficult to focus the mouse pointer in the screen and select a particular option or menu.

Cause

The installation of Windows Virtual PC on MultiPoint Server is not supported.

Resolution

This is a known issue. There is no known resolution at this time.
