Microsoft Lync Server 2010 僅提供 64 位元版本，因此需要 64 位元硬體及 64 位元版本的 Windows Server 作業系統。用戶端電腦不必配備 64 位元硬體或軟體。

Lync Server 2010 的所有伺服器角色都需要下列其中一個作業系統：

• 64 位元版本的 Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard、64 位元版本的 Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise，或 64 位元版本的 Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter

• 64 位元版本的 Windows Server 2008 SP2 Standard、64 位元版本的 Windows Server 2008 SP2 Enterprise，或 64 位元版本的 Windows Server 2008 SP2 Datacenter
