How can I get suggestions on my handheld?

When you connect your Microsoft and Facebook accounts to Bing, we can give you personalized suggestions for things you might like in the following three places:

• Local Scout

• Touring Windows Phone Store

• Music + videos

You can set up suggestions from two places: Local Scout or Search settings. Go to What suggestions will I see? to learn more about what happens once you get everything set up.

To set up suggestions from Local Scout

1. Press the Search button, and then tap Scout.

2. Flick left or right to For you, tap Tap to get suggestions, and then follow the instructions.

To set up suggestions from the Search settings

1. Press the Search button, and then tap More > Settings.

2. Tap Suggestions, and then follow the instructions.

To refine your suggestions in Local Scout

You can help us make the best possible recommendations by letting us know if a suggestion isn't right for you. The more you rate, the more we'll be able to learn your tastes.

1. In Local Scout, flick left or right to For you.

2. Tap Refine.

3. Check the boxes for any suggestions you don't like, and then tap Dislike.
