Lesson 1: Adding a Shipping Method and a Tax Rate

Before customers can order items from your online catalog, you must set up shipping methods and tax rates. Because you are going to sell camping products to customers in both Europe and the United States, you need to add shipping methods (rates) for carriers who provide service in both the U.S. and Europe. You use the Business Desk Orders modules to add and modify shipping methods, and set up tax rates for different countries/regions and jurisdictions.

• Step 1: Adding a shipping method
• Step 2: Adding a shipping method for a different locale
• Step 3: Adding a tax rate
• Step 4: Adding a tax rate for a different locale
• Step 5: Publishing order codes
