Active Directory Groups

You use the Group Manager module to manage user membership in Active Directory groups. The Group Manager module requires the following:

  • Your system administrator bases your site and Business Desk on the SupplierActiveDirectory Solution Site.
  • At least one property of the User Object profile definition is mapped to an Active Directory data source.
  • Your system administrator creates Active Directory groups and assigns site access privileges to them.

You use the Group Manager module to add and remove users from the Active Directory groups. When a user is added to an Active Directory group, the user has the level of access to your site that is specified for that Active Directory group.
