Image Properties Dialog Box, Border

Select Border on the Image Properties dialog box to change border options for the selected image. You can specify whether you want borders around the selected picture, and how the border lines appear.

Options

  • Style
    Choose a line style for the border lines; for example, solid, dashed, double, or dotted. By default, solid is selected. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression.

  • Width
    Choose a line width. By default, 1pt is selected. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression.

  • Color
    Choose a color for the border lines. Click the Expression (fx) button to edit the expression. To make the selected item transparent, select No Color. To customize colors in the Select Color dialog box, select More colors.

  • Presets
    Select the None or Outline option to add to or remove borders from the perimeter of the selected item.

  • None
    Click to remove all borders.

  • Outline
    Click to display a border around the selected item.

  • Preview
    Click to specify the border lines to which to apply the style, width, and color.

  • Top
    Apply style, width, and color to the top border of the item.

  • Bottom
    Apply style, width, and color to the bottom border of the item.

  • Left
    Apply style, width, and color to the left border of the item.

  • Right
    Apply style, width, and color to the right border of the item.
