Event Categories

The Microsoft Speech Server (MSS) event logging schema defines several filters to reduce the number of events captured in any given session, and to target specific scenarios (such as script debugging) for gathering events.

Each filter consists of one or more categories, as shown in the table below. The categories define the specific events to be captured.

Note  Most events are sent to the Windows event trace log only. For more information, see the topic Event Sinks.

The following table lists the MSS event categories and their respective sinks.
