Description
Specifies the Linkage subkeys from which data was collected to create the binding. Each name in the value of this entry indicates a path through the binding protocol.
The Linkage subkeys that appear in the value of this entry can represent services or devices.
Linkage subkeys for services bear the name of the service (such as Tcpip) and appear in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services.
Linkage subkeys for devices are named by the globally unique identifier (GUID) of the device class and appear in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class.
Note
- A valid binding requires a value for three entries: Bind, Export, and Route Entry.
Caution
- Bindings are created by the system. Do not change the values of these entries.
